About
Tutors for a Cause was created by Nicholas DeGeorge in June of 2022 to help combat some of the long-lasting effects of the pandemic: the detrimental effect on education, especially in communities with pre-existing opportunity and achievement gaps, and the steep decline of mental health as a result of the many stressful factors stemming from COVID-19. To combat both issues, Tutors for a Cause adopted a 'pay what you can' system to reach as many students as possible while still being able to make a financial impact on organizations that are making the world a better place. Since the inception of Tutors for a Cause, we have grown our tutoring staff by 100% and have held countless sessions with dozens of students across the world.
